We at Guru Sadan Rural Nursing/Paramedical Training Institution Sonepat have dedicated ourselves to caring for and educating young minds towards Nursing and Paramedical Training .Prof.Ashia Qureshi,Msc Nursing MBA, took over the charge of Dean Cum Principal on 27th February 2015 after completion of glorious 43 years of successful Nursing services ,nursing education and Nursing Administration at various capacities at All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi. For her meritorious community services ,nursing education, patients care she has been conferred with most prestigious Mahila Shiromani National Award from Hon. President of India Dr.Shankar Dayal Sharma in president house, Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award from Hon.Health Minister of India & many more awards, medals and certificates from National and International bodies for her contribution in research publication, presentations,and writing books for Bsc and Msc courses at IGNOU.
A kind and compassionate person, she is also a disciplinarian who sets high standards for herself and the institution. She is an active life member of Trained Nurses’ Association of India and various National AND International bodies, credited several research paper presentation and publications at seminars, Conferences, and journals. Nursing is an art and science. A professional Nurse learns to deliver patient/client care tactfully with compassion, caring and respect for each client’s dignity. Nursing as a science is based upon a body of knowledge that is always changing with new discoveries and innovations .When nurses integrate the science and art of nursing into their practice the quality of care provided to clients is at a level of excellence that benefits clients in innumerable ways. The opportunities for a nurse are limitless. A professional nurse may choose any number of careers including clinical practice education, research ,management, administration and even entrepreneurship. It is an exiting time to become a Professional Nurse.
In tune with specialization in medical practice, Nursing education has moved forward to specialization such as cardio vascular nursing, Neonatal Nursing, Critical care Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, obstetric nursing, oncology nursing, neuro nursing and community health nursing. her are many health care facilities and educational institutions, in this country to prepare nurses with the very best skills and knowledge.We at Guru Sadan Institute strive to achieve the excellence in nursing education and Paramedical Health sciences and clinical practice in all the courses at undergraduate,GNM and ANM level. Very soon wee will start Postgraduate programme in Nursing in all specializations. We also provide an arena for our students’ total development by including extra-curricular activities besides academic activities. Our students are selected by reputed hospital during campus placement and they are excelling where ever they are placed.
I along with GURU SADAN team assure to achieve the highest level of students satisfaction and result by practicing high quality teaching technology for overall development of students and to become the most preferred institute by year 2016 is our vision.
